Photography Tips

  1. Place the subject in front of a background with a solid colour.
  2. Natural light is best so use daylight if you can. Make sure the subject is facing the light while the photographer has their back to the light source.
  3. Set your device or camera to “Standard Photo Mode” – please do not use “Portrait Mode”.
  4. Set your subject up in one of our suggested poses.
  5. Shoot vertically instead of horizontally.
  6. Make sure the camera is held steady and the subject is in sharp focus.
  7. Take the photo from the subject’s eye level – you might have to squat! – and make sure your image is shot from the subject’s mid-thigh and above.
